Tatachilla Keystone Shiraz Grenache 1998

I had an impromptu session at Denise Wine today.
Tatachilla Keystone Shiraz Grenache 1998. The nose was amazingly young for a wine 10 years old. Sweet chocolate big nose fills up the air. Palate was initially rounded but a sharp attack from the Shiraz emerge in from the mid palate till the end. Interesting. A sweet vanilla grenache nose while Shiraz provide a lengthy acidity palate. Good buy. Pairs well with sharp cheese.
Sto Ippolito Toscana 2004: A blend of 50-50 Shiraz and Merlot. A pungent banyard nose. Not elegant but pretty rought. Palate was big fruits and nothing else. Not my type.

Subway Cold Cut Trio: My fav!
