Dogma's wine

Ogier Cotes Du Rhone Heritage 2006:

Bought this from Midvalley Bottles & Bottles some time ago.. opened up and you get a powerful fruit, red berry note on the nose. On the palate it was a muscular as well compared to most cotes du rhone. Very big and grenached for my liking. Things got more balanced after 1hr of aerations. You get some bitter note at the end palate. at RM100, pretty ok la but not a rebuy for me. I prefer more elegant style wines.

Lawson Hills Pinot Noir, 2006 Marlborough.

this is a very good value for money new world pinot. Silky, light and dancing on the palate, slowing gliding down your throat... The nose did not offer much. only some light cherry and earth after some time. However, the palate is clean.. Great buy at this pricepoint (SGD40)
