Old Chang Kee@Novena Square
Demona: Dogma and I were walking around Novena Square. We had 30 minutes to kill, before my bus boarding time. Stumbled upon Old Chang Kee. I have yet to try it's speciality, the curry puff, as the fried squid stick caught my attention. It was quite tasty (it never goes wrong when you deep fry any batter coated food). I only wished they fried them there and then, rather than frying a lot at one go. Our squid stick was cold. Although tasty, they were a little soggy already.
Can't complain much, only cost sgd 1.30 per stick.
Verdict: Side street snack. Average tasting. You eat for the fun of it.
