Rosemount Mountain Blue Mudgee Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon 1997
Reviews from Winespectator@90points
Bright and focused, offering delicious blueberry, plum and spice flavors that glide smoothly through the silky finish. Drink now through 2007. 2,500 cases imported
My notes: Got this as a gift from KY. Cork was musty after a decade of improper storage. Open up with mellowed spicy berry note from bottle aging, then a strong herbal/medicinal note appear on the nose. Palate was medium but some bitter herb tone emerged in the end. Lost some fruits. Past its prime but good to see how Aussie red behave after aging. Drink up now.
