Vaucher Pere Et Fils Montagny Premier Cru 2005@35SGD:I bought this bottle from Bottles&Bottles in Marina Parade. I'd asked for a " new world burgundy styled chardonnay with toasty and creamy nose. Clean body" and i think he only understood the word Burgundy and he pass me this bottle assuring me that it fits my description of TOASTY and CREAMY. Well,my in house Burgundy Guru JT never heard of this producer but the price was too interesting to turned down the offer.
I assure you, the toasty and creamy nose was totally absent. What you get was a pretty lean nose of citrus and some vanila from oaking. The palate was all the way single dimension and hard/metallic. Acid was overpowering. Dun bother la.

Nothing worse than an idiot trying to place their own wine tasting review. Wouldn't had been so bad if they had used a spell checker.
